Hey everyone, Dan Milleson here. You're receiving this email as a part of an 1,100-person community. You've been to a show at Waterfront Hall, you've signed up for our Running or Cycling clubs, or we've met somewhere along the way.
If you'd like to unsubscribe there is a button at the bottom of this email, but I hope you stick around, as this weekly correspondence (every Tuesday morning) is going to be your one-stop source of all things Waterfront Hall.
You will soon receive benefits - such as discounted show tickets, merch discounts, drink vouchers, contests and more. We're still trying to figure all of that out. Mostly, the focus will be community and awareness about the cool things that are taking place in our building, our area, and the wider world.
As you scroll down, you'll notice our upcoming live music, happenings, pop-up shops. There will be links to buy tickets, merch. You can even start booking your stay in our 2nd floor loft or begin planning your event.
Then you'll see the Running Club Update - we've developed a regular running community of around 30 members, with about 125 people on an email list. This newsletter will be the running club's new vessel for updates. And we are still considering putting together a cycling club and how that best works with our friends from Bike Wheeling.
Ian Gulley's column is next. He's our GM and heart and soul. He'll be musing on all things wine, beer. He'll write about our staff, projects, and our efforts to make Waterfront Hall better for all of you.
I'll be writing to you as a friend who wants to share ideas, inspiration, philosophy, and more.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you'll come along for our high adventure in bringing us all a little closer.
