RUNNING CLUB UPDATE w/ PRESIDENT MATT RIFFLE

The Waterfront Hall Run Club is taking our “Trash Run” to Elm Grove on Saturday, July 19th to help with the cleanup efforts after the recent floods. This is an event open to everyone - not just runners.

Runners will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot near Uncle Pete’s and the Wheeling Skatepark to run along the Wheeling Heritage Trail.

If you’d like to help with the cleanup but skip the run, meet us in the same parking lot at 10:00 a.m. From there, we’ll send volunteers out in groups to tackle a few spots around Elm Grove. Our goal is to spend an hour picking up trash around the area, but whether you can give us 20 minutes or over an hour we’d love to have you.

In the meantime, we’re still meeting every Wednesday at 5:45 p.m & Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Waterfront Hall. There is no excuse to miss out on the free beer and friendship at the finish line.
